Awesome 3 night stay with the family last weekend! The bike course was challenging and had lots of variation. Awesome... on site amphitheater! Right at the bottom of the property sets restaurants, an ice cream shack, an awesome coffee doughnut trailer and of course The Hub bike shop which has its own beer bar right inside. Also the Pisgah National Forest has many nearby options for hiking, biking, tubing, kayaking, fishing, etc.read more

I stayed in an efficiency cabin for 4 nights for a fly fishing trip with Pisgah Outdoors and loved it! The location is... perfect for access to all the area has to offer in Pisgah National Forest, especially if you want to steer clear of crowds in Brevard but still be within a 5-10 min drive of it. The cabin was clean and nicely decorated—no more or less than I needed. Even staying in the smallest cabin size, I had a spacious porch with a wooded view that was situated to afford privacy from my neighbors’ porches. The staff was excellent at responding to inquiries and the whole development is well maintained and was planned with care and respect for the natural environment. I will definitely be back for another stay as soon as possible! Thanks!

Wife and I stayed labor day weekend. Close to everything but you feel like you're away from everything if that makes... sense. Everything you could possibly need are already in the cabins except beer and thats at Ecusta (highly recommend)down the hill, lol. Also apologize to the guests for any yelling and barking they may have heard during the UGA vs Clemson game....Go Dawgs! We'll be back.read more

Fantastic units. We stayed in the one bedroom at the top. Like living in a treehouse. With all the hiking and... waterfalls around it was so nice to return to a comfortable unit and bed to recharge for the next days adventure. Loved it.read more

We spent three incredible nights at Pilot Cove. The accommodations were comfortable and provided everything we needed... for a long stay.
We enjoyed hiking the longer loop trail on site but also took advantage of the quick access to numerous waterfalls and trails in Pisgah National Forest as well as the Blue Ridge Parkway. It was nice to be able to go back to the room for a break.
Also found that there were several great places to eat within a few minutes drive.
One evening we couldn’t get the TV to work and we diagnosed it as a remote battery problem. The on-site management had fresh batteries at our door in less than 30 minutes.
This is a great place to stay whether you are hiking, biking, or just chilling!read more

My husband and I have fallen in love with Pilot Cove! Great accommodations in an area with lots to see and do. We’ve... enjoyed exploring the trails on the property, walking to the Hub and Pisgah Tavern, enjoying great food at Hawg Wild BBQ and tasting local brews at Ecusta Brewing. The cabins are modern and well equipped, all the comforts of home. You are close to both DuPont and Pisgah Forest with access to easy, moderate and difficult trails depending on your preference. Blue Ridge Parkway is just minutes away! Great location!read more

Just perfect. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend a long weekend. Convenient to everything but you never... need to leave! We walked down the hill to the coffee truck in the morning and had the most amazing coffee too! We rented #86 which was a 1 bedroom and it was plenty large enough for 4 adults on a girls’ trip. Nothing like sipping champagne in your pjs, watching the Rays in the World Series after a long day hiking!read more

We spent 5 days and 4 nights. Because I booked so late we had to switch cabins half way through the stay. They were... very accommodating and allowed us to move things early before we headed out for the day. These would be perfect for a family as everything was set up for mud and durability. Everything about Pilot Cove is spectacular. The location is superb! The property is tucked away, quite and private;... yet in the heart of everything you would want to do in the Brevard/Pisgah Forest area. Everything you need is within reach and easy to access, plus it is a mile or so of some top breweries, restaurants and shops. This place is perfect for those who want to relax or want adventure. If you want some outdoor adventures you are coming to the right place. The Pisgah Forest is literally Pilot Coves backyard. We enjoyed hiking, waterfalls, mountain biking and kayaking.
The cabins are luxury, eco friendly, clean and the perfect place for a getaway with all the amenities you could ask for. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and we woke up refreshed and ready to explore the property and Brevard! I LOVE the private forest view decks which we enjoyed our morning coffee and I where I practiced yoga each morning. Also they provide Hammocks so its perfect to relax. It comes with everything you need in the kitchen if you choose to stay in and cook; which was great! Comes equipped with washer/dryers as well as detergent which was great for those of you who like to get outdoors and go on adventures. The cabins have AC and blackout curtains as well which provided a great atmosphere and sleep.
A special shoutout to Property Manger Syl Neel who went above and beyond to make suer we had a fantastic stay and everything we needed. He truly set the bar for customer service!
Pilot Cove is now what I call my "happy place" So much so that after our first visit we were back within a month for a repeat stay. We cannot wait to come back during the fall months and see the beauty the change of season brings.read more

I highly recommend Pilot Cove. We stayed in number 27 and it felt like we were in a tree house and you could hear the... stream below. The cabin itself was beautiful and clean. The custom tables were gorgeous. Just like the photos shown on their website. The porch is amazing. We enjoyed sitting out there watching the rain and thunderstorms at night and coffee in the mornings. Pilot Cove is conveniently located near local breweries, delicious food trucks, downtown Brevard, Blue Ridge parkway, all the waterfalls and outdoor activities you could possibly want. We will definitely be back!read more

We stayed 3 night in Cabin 64. Wow, is all I gotta say! This place is really neat. The layout of the interior is well... thought out. There is a mud room when you first walk in to take off your shoes and gear. The first thing in the house I was attracted to was the deck overlooking the mountain, dense tree and stream below. In the mornings we would open the sliding doors, drink our coffee and listen to the stream. The beds were super comfy and a slept like a baby. They have thought of every little detail to make their guests feel at home and like friends. They left an eno hammock to sit in on the porch and a growler in the cabinet to get beer at the local brewery. We are excited to go back in August if everything works out!read more

Everything about our stay was top notch from arrival to departure. The "contactless" check-in/out was especially great... given the COVID19 considerations. Lane (the owner) was amazingly attentive with directions and seemed to have an endless list of recommendations (some "off the map" too!) for everything from hiking, waterfalls and food/drinking spots. Pisgah National Forest entry is right outside the door. Looking Glass Falls and Sliding Rock are MUST SEE locations within a 10min drive. The property itself is great - we really did not need to leave if we didn't want to explore more. There is hiking and mountain biking trails, a fire pit and an amphitheater (with yoga classes during the day) all on-site.
We stayed in a 2BR cabin with 2 adults and 2 kids (10/7) very comfortably - probably could have even done a 1BR with the pull out couch. The outside deck was amazing with comfortable Adirondack chairs and a hammock - perfect for daily morning yoga and coffees! There was a full kitchen where we cooked multiple meals each day. Washer/Dryer in the unit. There was also surprisingly great water pressure in the showers.
We believe our kids will remember this trip forever. We will most certainly return!!read more

We have been staying at home since March 13th due to Covid-19 and were searching for a place to spend Father's Day... weekend in Brevard, NC. The precautions, cleaning, furnishings, view, and location made Pilot Cove an easy choice for our simple get-a-way. Our son slept in his Eno on the porch both nights, while my husband and I slept in the bedroom. We loved the deck house design, opening up the doors, and the location to the bike trails. We were in Brevard for work this week. Great cabin, great location. Very easy booking, check in and out. Well designed... and nice furnishings. Very clean and has everything you could possibly need for a night or a week. The porch is huge. Our son loved laying out there on the hammock provided! My son and I stayed at Pilot Cove last week for a mountain bike vacation in Pisgah Forest. It was exactly as... advertised: clean, modern, close to trailheads. It had comfortable beds, a spacious porch, washer/dryer. Kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook in but you are also close enough to Brevard if you want to head out. Sweet little trail system also available right on the property. The Pilot Cove team is awesome, great customer service...you will not be disappointed.read more

First, thank you Pilot Cove, White Dot Adventures, and Up Country Brewing for an amazing winter getaway! Pilot Cove is... a fantastic location for anyone looking to explore all that Pisgah National Forest and Brevard have to offer. We stayed in cabin 231, which was the last cabin and offered uninterrupted forest views. Pilot Cove thought of everything to make our stay worry free. From mudroom towels, a hammock, locally sourced coffee, and extra blankets to bathroom heat lights and separate shower, we felt in tune with nature and that the space was well appointed and thoughtfully laid out. We could be in Pisgah within five minutes and downtown within 10 minutes. On the morning of day three, we were already planning our return trip to Pilot Cove and selecting additional trails to run with White Dot Adventures - all while sipping Up Country's tasty lager on our private deck. What an epic birthday adventure and one we'll remember for quite some time!read more
